POLICE discovered three-hundred cannabis plants in a house right next to a school.
Officers from Maindee raided the house on Rockfield Street at the back of Durham Road School just after 1pm.
There were an estimated 300 plants inside.
Police were alerted to the drugs factory by a SWALEC electrician who discovered it when he arrived to carry out some work.

I live next to the school and this raid was nowhere near here. It was right at the other end of the street next to the church. Get your facts right Argus.
