Man, 61, will appear in court charged with causing the death of Newport cyclist Andrew Chick by careless driving

A MAN will appear in court this week charged with causing the death of a Newport cyclist by careless driving.
The 61-year-old is going before magistrates in Cwmbran on Friday.
Newport dad Andrew Chick died after a collision with a black Volkswagen car on the Southern Distributor Road (SDR) on August 8.
The 40-year-old was cycling to work at when the crash happened at around 7.50am.
He died in the Royal Gwent Hospital later that day.
Following the tragedy, his devastated children Bethan and Benn spoke of their loss in a tribute issued through police.
Mr Chick was said to have had a well-paid job as a driver's mate and was described as a quiet man and a hard worker.
