A LARGE piece of wood in the middle of the M4 motorway near Newport is causing trouble for motorists.
The wood is affecting the motorway in both directions, between J24 (A48/A449 Coldra) and J26 (A4051 Malpas Road).
Matrix signs are set to 50mph and motorists are advised to approach with care. Emergency services are en route.
Update: People are on the road after removing the piece of wood and care should still be taken when driving.
