EBBW Vale artist Nathan Wyburn, who is known for his portraits of stars like Simon Cowell using toast and Marmite, is exhibiting his work this month as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Mr Wyburn is one of several budding entrepreneurs to have been helped by the Welsh Government in starting their own business and was selected to show his work at Christmas markets in Cardiff and Llandudno.

Mr Wyburn will be exhibiting his work between November 20 and 24 as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

The fine art graduate shot to fame when he reached the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent with a portrait of Cowell.

He has since exhibited all over the UK and his unusual pictures have caught the imagination of people in Japan, America and Australia.

Mr Wyburn is now benefiting from the Welsh Government's Taste of Enterprise programme which allows people to try out ideas in a low risk environment while gaining valuable business advice at the same time.

The Welsh Government has made a number of log cabins available at the craft markets where 18 businesses and social enterprises from across Wales, which includes Mr Wyburn, will be able to trade for up to five days.

Business Minister Edwina Hart said she hoped the events would inspire others who may be considering starting their own business.
