SPECIAL health clinics are to be held for Cwmcarn High School pupils and parents.

The clinics, provided by Public Health Wales, Aneurin Bevan Health Board and Caerphilly County Borough Council will let pupils and parents discuss any concerns they may have after the closure of the school after asbestos was discovered in the building.

Letters were posted on Wednesday 14 November to all pupils, parents and guardians of the school, giving information about the clinics which will be held on Wednesday 21 November.

Environmental and public health specialists wil also be on hand.

Dr Gill Richardson, Director of Public Health for Aneurin Bevan Health Board said, "This health concerns clinic will provide students and families with the opportunity to discuss any concerns they may have with public health professionals on a one to one basis."
