CAN you guess the famous recording artist this Undy man is impersonating?
That’s the puzzle facing a celebrity panel in the 250th anniversary show of Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
Colin Smith, 57, was invited to take part in the comedy show’s identity parade, facing stars like Richard Madeley and comedian Phil Jupitus, who had to choose which person in a line-up was part of a Beatles tribute band.
Mr Smith imitates Sir Paul McCartney in The Bandit Beatles group, which has toured the world.
The show will be the second time local music boss Mr Smith has featured on it, 15 years after his first ID parade appearance in 1997.
Mr Smith, who recently launched his own record label and publishing company Intalman (Music & Media), has a recording studio in Magor.
He enjoyed a chat with Mr Madeley backstage and Mr Jupitus remembered him from the 90s.
He appears on the show, at 10pm on BBC2, on Monday, November 19.
