A MAN missing from his Newbridge home may have been hitchhiking on the night he disappeared, say Gwent Police.

The Argus reported yesterday how Kyle Vaughan, 24, was last seen on December 30.

A police spokesman said officers have received information to suggest Mr Vaughan, pictured, may have been hitchhiking on the A467 northbound between Risca and Cross Keys between 10.35pm and 12.30am on the evening of December 30.

Mr Vaughan is described as 5ft 8in, of slim build, with short dark hair, and brown eyes. He wears a gold neck chain with a cross and has a barcode tattoo on his inner left forearm.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Gwent Police on 101.
