CAERPHILLY council is appealing for foster carers.

And there is now an easier way to get involved via a new text service.

Text the word ‘foster’ to 78866 to get more information about becoming a foster parent.

Applicants must be aged 21 years or over and all those who have time in their life and space in their home are considered eligible.

Those who work aren’t excluded and neither are those who are single, rent their property or have a disability.

Full training and continuous support is provided for those who decide to foster and they are also given financial assistance, including fees.
