Woman taken to Royal Gwent Hospital after M4 lorry crash near Newport

A WOMAN was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital with chest pains this afternoon after a crash between her red Ford Fiesta and a lorry on the M4 motorway near Newport.
The ambulance service confirmed that the female car driver was taken to hospital, following the collision on the M4 eastbound between Junction 25 (Caerleon) and Junction 24 (the Coldra) at 3.55pm.
Gwent Police said the 48-year-old woman's injuries were thought to be minor.
