All Torfaen schools closed except for exam students

ALL schools in Torfaen are closed today due to snow, except those that are hosting A level examinations, which are open to those pupils only.

The following are also closed Cwmbran ICC, New Inn Family Learning Centre, Pupil Referral Unit, Ebbw Vale College, Pontypool College and Usk College.

Refuse and Recycling Collections have been suspended across the borough, as staff have been redeployed to clear snow and ice from shopping centres and other public areas.

The South Sebastopol planning inquiry due to take place at Pontypool Active Living Centre today has been postponed.

All Leisure Centres are currently open, however limited services may be provided, so if you are planning to visit you may wish to call ahead.

The Life Station, Church View and Digital Hub are all closed today.

Croesyceiliog CEC, Pontypool CEC and the Power Station are currently open however are likely to close early. Llanyrafon Manor and the Raspberry Tearooms will be closed today.

There are currenly not road closures in the borough.
