A rolling road block has been lifted on the M4 westbound at Llanwern between J24 A48 / A449 (Coldra) and J26 A4051 (Malpas Road). The road block was to clear ice from overhead gantries.

4/5 - Not operating
7 – Operating as far as the roundabout on Aberthaw Road, Alway Shops but will not operate via Ladyhill
11A/11C – Only serving Brynglas via Brynglas Drive
18 – Operating but not via Pilton Vale
19 – Operating along Malpas Road then to Malpas Court only
27 - Operating but not around Trinity View for the rest of the evening due to ice

The road and rail networks are also braced for further bad weather. The M48 Severn Bridge is closed in both directions between junctions 1 and 2, and is not expected to reopen until noon.
