Cow stops traffic as it wanders onto Usk road

TRAFFIC was at a standstill on the A449 near Usk this afternoon after a cow strayed onto the carriageway.

The cow was spotted on the Southbound carriageway at 2.15pm and caused the traffic to come to a standstill.

Gwent Police are currently dealing with the incident and the cow is believed to be heading north along the carriageway.
