A gang of burglars raided a home in Newport last night.
Police officers were called to an address on Aston Crescent, Newport at 8pm following the report of a disturbance.
Four men reportedly forced entry into the premises, pushing past the male and female occupants.
They searched the downstairs of the address and then left in a vehicle. Nothing was stolen and the occupants were unharmed.
A car the offenders were travelling in was located later that evening. Three men, two aged 31 and one aged 30 were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
They remain in police custody at this time and inquiries are ongoing.

Get yourself a stun, more powerfull than police tazers and sold online for less than £30.

You can also get CCTV systems that you can view your property on your mobile phone anywhere in the world for about £150.
In Stoke on Trent crime must be high. You can visit a housing estate and you will have CCTV on every single street corner. Fitted to the CCTV cameras are high beam spot lights.
I can see Newport introducing CCTV on every street corner in the near future.
