The search for the man seen falling into the River Wye near the A48 bridge in Chepstow is to resume today.
6:12pm
UPDATE: The search has been called off overnight, confirmed SARA Beachley station chairman Merv Fleming, due to lack of light.

Gwent Police confirmed they are searching for a man who has fallen into the water from the Wye Bridge, Chepstow.
Gwent Police have been joined by the SARA rescue boat, Chepstow Coastguard and the Avon and Somerset police helicopter.

A SEARCH was launched this afternoon after someone was reported to be in the water near the A48 bridge over the River Wye in Chepstow.
Gwent Police say they were called at 2.50pm and that SARA, coastguard and helicopter are involved in the rescue attempt.
