Crash blocks A4042 between Newport and Cwmbran
UPDATE: 8.29am
The road is now open again.
THE A4042 is partially blocked northbound due to multi-vehicle crash between Grove Park Roundabout and Croes-y-Mwyalch Roundabout.
Emergency services are on route to the accident.
Nearest cameras showing traffic is coping well.

"The proposed 40 mph and 50 mph speed limits on the A4042 Trunk Road at and near Grove Park Roundabout in the City of Newport are necessary to reduce the existing speed limit on the circulatory carriageway of Grove Park Roundabout, Newport and its southern approach and northern exit roads."
