Chepstow woodland clear-up a success

MANY hands made light work of a woodland clear-up in Chepstow recently, when Transition Chepstow Litter Action Group removed a dozen bags of rubbish from Warrenslade Woods.
By the end of the weekend, with support from Keep Wales Tidy, the group had removed sheeting and mattress wire and filled 12 bin bags with litter. If you want to join the group and create a cleaner, safer Chepstow, its next assignment will be the Parc Redding end of the woods.
The group will meet at Tenby Lane car park, off Denbigh Drive, on Saturday, February 24, at 2pm.
Equipment and gloves will be provided, but you should wear strong shoes and old clothes. Email litter@transitionchepstow.org.uk
