Risca man fined after threatening to 'fight you all’

A RISCA man was ordered to pay a total of £327 after threatening to fight police officers, a court heard.

Jamie Brooks, 31, of Tanybryn, had been on a stag event on February 2 when officers noticed a group of men being “hostile” in Commercial Street, Risca.

Prosecutor Ruth Hale told Caerphilly Magistrates’ Court: “Brooks walked up to them, threw his top on the floor and said ‘I’ll fight you all’.’’ He pleaded guilty to using threats and must pay a £220 fine, £22 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
