Sad state of affairs that a man has to steal nappies for his baby. On this occasion i really hope a thief isnt caught. He will end up with a fine and comm srvice so will have less money and time for his famy. These people need help. Its bl***y tough out there at the minute

What a crass comment. He gets child benefit like everyone else. Who are you to decide who needs what by stealing it when honest people have to pay?

Yes, agree, what a stupid comment!!! That makes it ok to steal does it???? This is a scum bag obviously with no morals and the child will prob doing the same soon. There is more than enough help out there and people chose not to prioritise. Hope he gets caught and gets flogged!

Ok so you guys know all about him and i know nothing. Stealing nappies makes someone a "scumbag"? With no morals. And because he stole some nappies his child will end up a thief?
Maybe i was wrong in assuming what i did of him but you are both equally wrong in what you assume. I would rather see the good in people until proven otherwise rather than the way you have it. Oh hang on a minute thats the law. Innocent until proven guilty..

Can you honestly hand on heart say you have never done anything just a little iffy. Maybe help your friend shift a TV that didnt know was stolen. Been offered something stolen and not reported your friend or family member who offered it to you.
People in glass houses shouldnt throw stones. If yiu can honestly say you have lived everyday of your life completely innocently then you are far superior to me.
Rock on you pair of jumped up fools i would rather someone steal for a child than for themselves but then i am just someone who makes crass stupid comments. Sorry for grammar or spelling errors im on my phone.

A question then: if you spend all the child allowance in the bookies then steal nappies, who are you stealing for? Yourself or the child? Another one: if other people with kids don't steal them and you do, who has the moral high ground? You or them? One more: if we all thought we could justify thieving from stores with a flimsy cover story, how much would honest people pay for their goods? And you call us idiots?

I'd like to know how some of the user comments on this story have any relevance to actual facts. If there is no information on what the motive was then there is little point in speculation.
