 AN ABERGAVENNY man has been charged with causing the death of two people on a Gwent road.

Gwent Police said the 24-year-old man had been charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving following a crash on the A465 Heads of the Valleys on October 27 last year.

Phillip Bath, 29, from Nantyglo and Glyndwr John Evans, 49, from Glynneath were both killed in the crash.

The Abergavenny man is due to appear at Caerphilly Magistrates Court on March 21.

question: why is it, nearly six months after the event, this man has not been named?
people are arrested daily for extremely serious crimes and are named - long before being charged... is this man's name being withheld for some reason?
