Three active ways to fundraise for St David’s Hospice Care
5:10pm Friday 8th March 2013 in News
A BIKE ride, a zip slide and a ‘onesie’ walk over the Severn Bridge are some of the events taking place this spring to raise money for St David’s Hospice Care.
Following the success of the Newport Half Marathon, on March 17 from 9.30am there will be a bike ride from Caldicot Castle, with either a 28-mile or a 46-mile circuit.
The terrain is both on and off-road and entrants are asked for a £10 minimum donation. An abseil and zipwire event at Chepstow National Diving and Activity Centre will take place on March 23, with an entry fee of £15, as well as the Abergavenny Three Peaks challenge on the same day.
On May 11, there will be a ‘onesie’ walk across the Old Severn Bridge. Entry is £10 and fancy dress is encouraged.
