The WRU confirmed that the roof at the Millennium Stadium will be closed for tomorrow’s Wales v England game.
12:08pm
The WRU's Aberganny-born poet in residence has penned these lines for the Wales v England game:
Seasoned
April is the cruelest month, or so the poets say,
for us though, it was Autumn did the damage.
Thinning our wood with felled trees,
breaking our limbs in its storms.
As we entered winter’s days
frost ran against our grain,
black with December rain.
But just as a coppiced trunk
confronts its cutting with growth,
and saplings will thicken into oaks,
so the torn muscle knits itself stronger
and the broken bone will heal itself firmer
to ready their bearers for the invitations of spring;
for the flexing of our boughs, the spreading of our wings.

not a bottle was opened, not even a Grouse.
Saving ourselves for tomorrow's big day,
When the flowers of spring come out to play.
Daffodils and Roses will decorate our city
But inside our stadium it won't be so pretty.
Fry ups for breakfast and checking for rain.
And to Cardiff we're going, all cramped on a train.
Nails will be bitten, nerves shorn to shred,
As we urge on our boys, all dressed in red.
Warm up with pints watching Ireland in Rome.
Be careful Brian, it could be a long plane ride home.
And onto the game where we boldly goes,
Spoiling a grand slam, the tension grows.
The walk to the Stadium, with good friendly banter.
The Gold Cup has gone, today is our canter!
We've ground out results since that first half disaster,
With Biggar established and Ryan the master.
Shoulders apart he brought us together,
And brought back our pride and fluffed up our feathers.
But with Ryan out injured the captain is Gethin.
And I think I heard that Steve Walsh is reffin'.
Let's hope he refs the teams on the pitch,
Not prance around like an arrogant b*tch!
15 on each team with 7 on each side,
No yellows, no reds, let the players decide.
Farrell is back and a real danger man,
With a target on his back for Justin and Sam.
The result in itself is too close to call,
Evenly matched in scrum and the maul.
Across the back line we've got choice, pace and power
And a quality bench to use on the hour.
We've got Roberts for impact our all-action man.
Although some might call him a battering ram
He'll take some tackling from the White centre pair,
(I hope Richard Hibbard can see through his hair!)
To the offload in contact with Jon and Leigh near
With the ball in one hand, the other adjusting headgear.
A North wind will blow, and Alex too Goode,
Let's hope these man mountains are in try scoring mood!
Ashton can tackle and he can swan dive,
If he Try's that tomorrow, he won't get out alive.
8 points and a victory would our wildest dreams,
Lose and we'll hear the Twickers boys screams.
And off to the pub before the final match starts
With beer in our belly and red in our hearts.come on wales
