ASPIRING film-makers had a field day as they listened to their Assembly Member discussing the acclaimed animated feature Fantastic Mr Fox.
The Labour Co-operative AM for Newport East, John Griffiths, read excerpts from the Roald Dahl book before debating the Hollywood version with pupils at Rogiet Primary School.
Rogiet School Film Club coordinator Anthony Parker, 36, said: “It was fantastic.
It gave the children a wider context of reading.”
