Two crashes and overturned lorry close Gwent roads

TWO car crashes and an overturned lorry have closed sections of road in Monmouthshire and Torfaen this evening.
Traffic is currently slow-moving through the Gibraltar Tunnels northbound near Monmouth following what is believed to be a multi-vehicle crash at 7.39pm.
One lane is now open, Gwent Police have confirmed.
An earlier incident on the B4246 at Varteg involving two vehicles saw the road closed for a time, although it is now open.
Gwent Police were unable to confirm whether any injuries had been sustained.
At 5pm an overturned lorry in Abergavenny closed the A465 Heads of the Valleys Road after the lorry's contents spilled across the road between the Hardwick roundabout and Pandy.
Gwent Police confirmed the driver suffered minor injuries.
