FIVE MINUTES WITH: Newport West AM and presiding officer of the National Assembly Rosemary Butler
If you had to be stuck in a lift with someone, who would it be and why?
I would have to say Emmeline Pankhurst. An amazing and inspirational woman remembered for leading the British suffragette movement.
What is your biggest fear?
Snakes
Do you have any superstitions?
No, I don’t think black cats and ladders control our destiny, although I won’t put a new pair of shoes on the table.
If you could have only one song on your iPod, what would it be and why?
I don’t own an iPod.
What’s the most expensive thing you’ve bought, not including property?
My car. I love it and so do my grandchildren when I put the top down.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
From my grandmother: always treat people in the manner you would like to be treated yourself.
What’s your indulgence?
Chocolate and the occasional G&T.
What item could you not live without?
My Blackberry, unfortunately.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why?
More will power to say no to chocolate.
Where are you next going on holiday?
West Wales.

As much as I admire her life and work, being stuck in a lift with someone who's been dead for 85 years would be pretty gross!
