FROM traditional bonnet parades to Easter tours, a fun egg-stravaganza awaits children and their parents over the coming week.
Here, we list events set to brighten up the holiday break of thousands of youths at libraries, sports centres and historic venues around Gwent this Easter.
Torfaen
March 25 to April 7: Greenmeadow Community Farm Easter Holiday Extravaganza Easter chicks, kid goats to bottle feed, pond dipping and spring searches as well as our ever popular craft and Cuddle Corner activities Easter Bonnet Parade on April 1.

March 31: Llanyrafon Manor Interactive displays in the oldest parts of the buildings, with Easter egg hunts, bonnets and bunnies, story telling and face painting.

March 25 - March 29: Old Station, Tintern Easter Craft Workshops £2-£4
March 25: Zone Youth Centre, Caldicot Kick racism out of football fun day. The football based event will be split into two sections with the first being held at The Zone Youth Centre in Caldicot with the other taking place on the courts at Caldicot leisure centre.
The afternoon will be spent looking into racism and its effect. Including a football coaching session.

March 27 Caldicot Skate Park Skateboarders, bikers and those who ride scooters will have the opportunity to show off their skills and get involved in a host of side activities.
There will be prizes and trophies for winners and runners up as well as a display from professional skaters. 2-7pm. Free entry
March 28 Caldicot Library Spring into Caldicot Library Free fun story time for four-eight year olds. 11am-noon

April 5: Central Kaff Youth Centre Sponsored Walk and Zip Wire Part of the day will be spent embarking on a three-mile walk from the Central Kaff Youth Centre to Chepstow activity centre, where participants will then ride on one of Europe’s biggest zip wires.
The day could be used to raise money for charity or to help conquer your fear of heights. Ages 13 plus.

Caerphilly
March 30: Blackwood Showfields Easter Fun Day Teddy bear picnic with rides, fireman Sam and Norman Price in aid of Wales Air Ambulance. 12.30pm
March 31: Caerphilly Castle Come over to Caerphilly Castle this Easter Sunday and join our historical character the third Marquess of Bute on a guided walk around the castle.
A small charge of £2 per adult and £1 concessions will be charged for the tour.
