THE female goshawk at Cwmcarn Forest has laid her first eggs of the season.
The breeding pair is one of only 400 nesting pairs in the UK and thanks to state of the art technology new and improved cameras have been planted to enable eager ornithologists to keep their eye on the activities of these rare birds as they hatch and care for this year's offspring.
