THIS is a man police are hunting in connection with an alleged large cannabis growing conspiracy that stretched to Gwent.

Andrew O'Donnell, 33, formerly of Wynford Road in Frome was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to produce a class B drug in October last year, but failed to answer police bail.

The arrest came after police raids at a farm near Trelleck, Monmouthshire, an industrial estate in Forest Vale Road in Cinderford, Gloucestershire, and a house in Tenbury Wells, Worcesertshire, which discovered hundreds of thousands of pounds of cannabis plants.

More than £100,000 of cannabis was found in three lorry containers in a field at the Monmouthshire farm in May 2012, according to Gloucestershire Police.

Subterranean cannabis grows were discovered at the address in Tenbury Wells address in July 2012, with five containers buried next to woodland, connected to the surface by a brick shaft.

O’Donnell is linked to addresses in Tuffley in Gloucester and Frome in Somerset, and also uses the surnames Morrison and Lawson.

He is believed to have rented a holiday home abroad last year, but it isn't known if he returned to the UK.

O'Donnell was due to be charged, and police are urging anyone who may know where he is to call Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting case 6708/09.
