A CARE service has been given heavenly feedback by inspectors.

Angel Carers, a care provider supporting people in their own homes, got top marks in a routine inspection from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The unannounced inspection was carried out over a two day period to check that the essential standards of quality and safety are being met.

Five essential standards were inspected and all five were rated with ‘Excellent Outcomes’ by the CQC.

The CQC spoke to people who used the service, one person said the care provided was ‘absolutely superb’. Another described the staff as ‘brilliant and friendly’ and another said Angel Carers as ‘absolutely magnificent’.

Clare Park, Angel Carers director, said: “All providers of regulated health and social care services have a legal responsibility to make sure they are meeting all essential standards and Angel Carers are no exception to this.

“We endeavour to assess each individual’s needs in order to promote independence while providing a high level of care.

“Angel Carers believe that their attention to detail is what separates their service from any other service provider.

“We are extremely proud of this achievement and we are constantly striving towards excellence.”

She added: “With the care service industry receiving such bad press lately we feel our inspection results are really something to be proud of. “We would like to say a big thank you to all of our staff who work so hard to give our clients such excellent care.”
