A CARAVAN caught fire on the M4 near Newport earlier today, westbound near the exit for the A48(M) at Junction 29.
A crew from Duffryn put out the fire in nine minutes using two hose reel jets, at 1.30pm.
The touring caravan was being towed by a car and no one was hurt, said a spokeswoman for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
