Three men and a woman bailed over suspected murder of Pontnewynydd man, John Reeder

FOUR people arrested on suspicion of the murder of a Pontnewynydd man have been released on bail by police.
Three men aged 18,19 and 23 and the one woman aged 19, all from the Pontypool area, had previously been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of 63-year-old John Reeder.
Gwent Police today said they have now been bailed until October 2 pending further inquiries.
Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death, and want to speak to all pedestrians and motorists who passed the scene of the incident between 6.00am and 6.10am last Wednesday.
Mr Reeder from Pontnewynydd was found lying face-down on the A4043 near George Street at 6am on Wednesday, sparking a 12-hour police investigation at the scene.
He was taken to Newport's Royal Gwent Hospital with serious head injuries but later died.
Originally from Yorkshire, Mr Reeder has lived at Tan-y-Coed, Pontnewynydd, for six years.
A group in his memory set up on social networking site Facebook has seen 2,896 people like it with over 130 messages left.
