Broken down car blocked lane on M4 in Newport

Police say the delays on the M4 were caused by a broken down car, not a crash.
Gwent police said they were called at around 3.45pm to what was reported as a road traffic collision between junction 28 and 29 westbound but was actually a broken down car.
Lanes are now reopened but congestion was caused back to junction 27.
ONE lane is blocked on the M4 in Newport and queueing traffic is reported due to an accident this afternoon.
The crash happened two vehicles involved on the westbound side between J28 at Tredegar Park and J29 with the A48(M).
Congestion is reported back to J27 at Highcross.
