Driver extracted from car on A4042

A DRIVER has been taken to hospital after a car crashed on the A4042 southbound near Llantarnam, Cwmbran, this morning.
Hydraulic cutting gear was used by South Wales Fire and Rescue firefighters to cut the person from the car after an incident at around 8.45am at the Croes-y-Mwyalch Roundabout.
The person was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital.
