TIME traveller and television star Doctor Who appears to have lost his famous interplanetary police box - known as the TARDIS - somewhere in South Wales and is appealing to Argus readers to help find it.
It seems the clocks going back for winter proved too much for the Time Lord from Gallifrey and now it looks as though he's searching Gwent's historic monuments to try and track it down - starting at Chepstow Castle, where he picked up a copy of the local paper.
"It’s awful embarrassing but my TARDIS malfunctioned when the clocks went back last weekend, I should have known not to travel then," said someone claiming to be the Doctor.
"As a result I have found myself stranded in Wales, Don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful country and one that I would like to explore but I’ve currently got universes to save."
Someone calling himself The Doctor - most recently played by Matt Smith in the hit BBC show - will appear on Facebook and Twitter in various locations across South Wales looking for his TARDIS in the coming days.
