Fire crews put out Malpas loft fire
SOUTH Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews put out a fire in a loft in Newport last night.
Three engines from Malpas, Maindee and Cwmbran extinguished the fire at the semi-detached house on Curie Close in Malpas. They were called out at 8.54pm and left at 9.39pm.
They used four breathing apparatuses, one safety jet and two hose reels.
No one was injured.
