FIRECREWS were called to put out a fire in a shed in Abertillery Park close to the park's grandstand at 6.50pm.

Two fire engines, from Abertillery and Blaina, left once it had been extinguished at 7.55pm. A South Wales Fire and Rescue spokesman said the shed had been deliberately set alight. No one was hurt.
