A CWMBRAN woman who received a personal invite from Peter Andre to be one of his champion fundraiser for Cancer Research UK is holding a final event to complete her charity drive.
Samantha Williams is hosting a Christmas Fair at The Crows Nest on Wednesday December 4.
The 41-year-old resident of Coed Eva made a number of donations to the Mysterious Girl singer’s charity page earlier this year, before getting a surprise message from the man himself last month.
She has recruited 16 stallholders for the festive sale at her local pub.
On sale will be books, sweets, cakes, candles and knitted items.
There will also be a raffle, tombola, and crafts, along with other items.
Mrs Williams originally set herself a fundraising target of £300, but with collections and donations currently standing at £462, she is now hoping to double that.
The Crows Nest fayre will be held between 11am and 2pm.
