A 24-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with conspiracy to kill three people in a drive-by shooting.
The man, from Newport, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a shooting which occurred on Chepstow Road, Newport on September 3.
Along with three counts of conspiracy to commit murder, he has also been charged with three counts of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm, and one count of perverting the course of justice.
He has been bailed to appear at Newport Magistrates Court on December 18.
Two other men, aged 20 and 22, from Newport, have previously been charged with attempted murder in the case.
Brogan Hooper, 20, of no fixed address, and Lewis Bridge, 22, of Nash Drive, Newport, appeared in court charged with three counts of attempted murder each and were remanded in custody.
Along with them, three others remain on police bail.
They are 22-year-old from Newport arrested on suspicion of conspiracy with others to commit murder, a 46-year-old from Newport arrested on suspicion of conspiracy with others to commit murder, and a 22-year-old from Newport arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
