A MAN appeared in court yesterday after having been charged with conspiracy to kill three people following an alleged shooting in a Newport street.
Gary Rabjohns, 24, appeared before Newport magistrates in connection with the incident in Chepstow Road on September 3.
Rabjohns, of no fixed abode, is charged with three counts of conspiracy to murder and a further three counts of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm between August 31 and September 5.
These charges relate to three alleged victims called Michael Wall, John Junior Phillips and Shanice Francis.
Rabjohns, of no fixed abode, also faces a further count of perverting the course of justice between October 1 and 5.
No pleas were entered during the short hearing.
District Judge Martin Brown remanded Rabjohns in custody and he will appear at Cardiff Crown Court tomorrow.
Brogan Hooper, 20, of no fixed address, and Lewis Bridge, 22, of Nash Drive, Newport, appeared before Cardiff Crown Court on Friday in connection with the incident.
They have been charged with three counts of attempted murder.
They were remanded in custody and are to reappear at the crown court tomorrow with Rabjohns.
