ADVENTURER Richard Parks reported that he was "tired but all good" as he continued in his latest record-breaking challenge.

Today sees Parks enter day 15 of the attempt to break Christian Eide’s Antarctic speed record as part of his aim to complete the fastest and longest solo, unsupported and unassisted Antarctic polar expedition in history.

Writing on his blog at the end of day 13, he said he had skied 43km in 11.5 hours.

This takes his total skiing time up to 137 hours in which he has covered 454km.

Parks aims to complete the 1,150km (715 mile) journey in 23 days.

A message from Parks was also put on his Twitter account in which he said: "Thank you guys for all your messages of support, they are really helping me and the team are passing them on."
