Flooding on M4 in Newport causes delays
VERY slow traffic is reported on the M4 in Newport between J27 at Highcross and J26 at Malpas on the eastbound side with congestion to J29 A48(M).
One lane was briefly closed at 12.05pm to allow for the unblocking of drains along the Malpas straight.
Traffic was already congested following an earlier lane closure within the Brynglas tunnels due to flooding.
All lanes have been re-opened.
