NEWPORT car salesman Matt Nolan got behind the wheel with five colleagues to complete a 24-hour charity marathon.

Mr Nolan, who works for Wessex Garages in Spytty, drove a Hyundai i30 through Wales and south west England to raise money for St David’s Hospice Care. Three men and two women from other Wessex dealerships in Cardiff, Gloucester and Bristol spent a day in their cars for their respective charities.

He said: “It was tough going but really well worth the effort.”

In the 24 hours, the colleagues visited the six dealerships’ charities of the year to help raise awareness.
