Crash closes two lanes on M4 in Newport

TWO lanes are blocked and queueing traffic is reported due to a three-vehicle accident on the M4 in Newport.

The crash happened on the eastbound side between J29 with the A48(M) and J28 at Tredegar Park.

Lanes two and three (Of three) are blocked by the accident, which is located approximately halfway between the two junctions.

Agreed, I see it all the time. What bugs me about this particular stretch of the M4 is that all the facilities are in place to regulate and control traffic speed ( speed camera markings & illuminated information signs ) yet to my knowledge there are No working cameras. Yes there are two sets mounted east and westbound but these seem to be there for show.
