Firefighters tackle Coedkernew blaze
TWO fire crews were called to extinguish a small fire at a house in Coedkernew this evening.
South Wales Fire and Rescue crews, one from Duffryn and the other from Maindee, were called to the house on Church Lane after the fire was caused by a log burner in the living room.
They were called at 6.50pm and were preparing to leave at approximately 8pm this evening.
