A WOMAN was assaulted and injured near a Newport nightclub and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Gwent Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the assault against an 18-year-old woman at around 2.25am of January 19, in the vicinity of Delilah's nightclub, Cambrian Road, Newport.
Anyone who recognises the man should call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log number 315 1/2/14.
