Firefighters rescue horse from drainage reen near Newport
FIREFIGHTERS rescued a horse from a reen in Peterstone on the Gwent Levels this morning.
Crews from Malpas, Bridgend and Roath were involved in the rescue at 8.29 this morning.
The horse is reported to be very tired from the ordeal and was to have a check-up from a vet.
