Fire service appeal after 'malicious' call made in Newport
SOUTH Wales Fire and Rescue have appealed for help in tracking down someone making a malicious 999 call in Newport this afternoon.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said call handlers challenged a male making a malicious call at 3.18pm from a kiosk at Lyceum Tavern on Malpas Road.
They ask if anyone saw anything suspicious to call them on 01443 232000.
