HOUSEBUILDER Taylor Wimpey donated £100 towards books to Clytha Primary School in Newport to celebrate World Book Day.
Thehousebuilder gave the money as part of the national event which aims to get children to enjoy reading.
Ann Price, headteacher at Clytha Primary School, said: “We encourage pupils to read, both in class and at home. This donation means we can add to the books on offer in our library.”
Sara Taylor, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey, said: “We’re supporting communities in which we build new homes.
