Police probe launched after man's body found in Newport
UPDATE 14.01: Gwent Police have confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious. They said the body was of a 43-year-old local man.
A MAN'S body was found in Newport this afternoon.
Gwent Police have launched an investigation after the body of a Newport man, said to be in his 40s, was found in an outbuilding at Cae Perllan allotments, Gaer, at midday.
Police are making enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding his death.
A police spokeswoman said his death is being treated as unexplained.
