AN exhibition of creative writing and artwork exploring the lighter and darker sides of living with mental health conditions has been staged at the Riverfront Theatre.
Mental health service users teamed up with artist Andy O’Rourke and poets Michael Church and Patrick Jones to create the show at the theatre in Kingsway, Newport.
The exhibition, called Healing Words, was supported by Gwent Arts in Health, Literature Wales, Newport libraries and Newport city council arts development community arts grant scheme.
Mental health charities Mind and Hafal and the Jigsaw mental health support group called also participated in the project.
