FOUR Newport men have been arrested on suspicion of theft after cabling was reported to have been taken from the railway line in Llanwern this morning.

The four, two of whom are 24 and the others 30 and 32, are in police custody.

A search was made of the area with police dogs and helicopter and the cable has been recovered.
